Mistweave Leathers
Fourth of the Pathworn Relics
“By Tharn’s breathy pipe, I saw him — then I didn’t — then I owed him money.”
Mike’s Thoughts: If the Mist Moves, Don’t Blink
Mistweave Leathers don’t cling to you. They hover. Flow. They breathe.
Stitched from storm-touched hide and dyed with the essence of sea fog and cave smoke, this armor don’t creak when you move. It don’t glint. And it don’t ask permission.
I found it draped across a cairn on a cliff so high the air wheezed. No footprints. No camp. Just fog. I put it on and heard nothing. Not even me own heartbeat. Thought I was dead. Turns out, the armor just forgets you exist for a moment.
Like the rest of the Pathworn Relics, it don’t show off early. But as you grow? It disappears harder.
Still don’t know who made it. But I know who wants it — everyone who’s ever needed to leave unseen.
Track the rest of the Pathworn set here:
Slippery, Silent, and Smug
Built for rogues, scouts, gloomstalkers, and any bard who’d rather flirt with shadows than crowds. Not flashy. Just gone.

For 1 minute per day, you may become semi-corporeal, passing through crowds, bars, guards, and minor barriers like a suggestion with legs.
Drop It in the Mist
Hide it on a shipwreck inside a stormcloud. Or in the pack of a dead courier who died standing, untouched by arrows. Maybe it shows up rolled in smoke during a short rest — no owner, just waiting.
You Don’t Need to Be Seen to Be Heard
📌 If yer armor gets ya noticed, yer armor’s the enemy.
👉 Mistweave is for those who vanish first, explain later. Pair it with Whisperfang for a perfect assassin blend, or wear it under Ironhowl Bastion if yer tank wants a soft side. Track down the rest of the Pathworn gear in the Tavern Armory, or leave a trail of breadcrumbs. I’ll pretend I didn’t follow them.
FAQ
Q: Does the fog have to be magical?
A: Nope. Natural fog, smoke from a torch, or even heavy steam’ll do.
Q: Does the invisibility trigger on all damage?
A: Physical, magical, psychic — any time you get hit, it might just say “nope.”
Q: Does the semi-corporeal effect let me pass through walls?
A: Nah — just people, ropes, light obstructions. Think “slip through a fight,” not “walk through a vault.”
