Balancing the Spotlight Without Singling Anyone Out
When one player dominated every scene, I looked at their intent. They weren’t malicious—just more extroverted than the rest. I encouraged quieter players to be louder and celebrated their moments alongside the dominant player’s. Over several sessions, the table found a rhythm where everyone felt seen.
Balancing spotlight isn’t a quick fix; it requires steady reinforcement of group participation.
