Cooling Off Player‑versus‑Player Conflicts
Two players at my table once refused to speak to each other. Rather than force a resolution mid‑session, I ended the game early and gave everyone a week to cool off. That pause kept friendships intact and let us restart with clearer expectations. Sometimes skipping a session is better than letting a conflict wreck the group.
Ending a session early isn’t failure; it’s an investment in the table’s long‑term health.
