THE CHARACTER PERSONALITY FORGE

TAVERN TOOL FOR ALL PLAYERS

Build a personality for your character, pick a temperament, social energies, emotional pattern, and a few personal preferences, then let the forge give you a roleplay-ready character concept!

This is your character's natural emotional style:

  • Melancholic – Thoughtful, deep-feeling, reflective, and often emotionally aware.
  • Choleric – Intense, forceful, driven, and quick to take action or control situations.
  • Sanguine – Lively, expressive, social, and energized by people and activity.
  • Phlegmatic – Calm, steady, patient, and slow to anger or panic.

This is how your character usually handles people. Introverted characters recharge in quieter spaces, extroverted characters gain energy from interaction, and ambiverted characters can swing between both depending on the moment.

Choose one thing your character naturally enjoys. This helps you decide what catches their attention first during scenes.

Choose one thing that bothers them. This helps you roleplay discomfort, tension, and little personal reactions.

This is the feeling that most strongly sits underneath the surface. It does not need to show all the time, but it shapes how your character reacts when things get serious.

This shows how your character handles that dominant emotion. Some joke, some hide, some get sharp, and some try to stay useful or kind.

Humor tells you a lot about how a character connects with others. It can make them charming, awkward, guarded, or unexpectedly sharp.

Every character wants something. This gives you an easy emotional direction for how they make choices in the story.
