Watchman’s Wheel

“Not fast. Not quiet. But if ya want to move through hell with yer front still facin’ the fire—this’ll do it.”

The Watchman’s Wheel is a tower shield mounted on a rolling base, originally designed by city watchmen patrolling cursed ruins. Heavy as sin and twice as loud, it lets the wielder advance without turnin’ their back, staying locked in a defensive stance while rollin’ forward. It’s not subtle, but it’s sure as steel.

Mike found it stuck in a sewer grate. Says the corpse still had one hand on the handle—and three goblins flattened underneath it.

Roll steady, roll stubborn. Let the others run.
